Probably same deal I have. Not powder coat but a ceramic they apply like powder coat . Can’t be powder coat. It would have smelled like burning plastic and wouldn’t look good after it melted. Your regular powder coat won’t live on headers. The ceramic stuff powder coater use is slightly less durable than things like Jet Hot and it doesn’t come in shiny chrome finishes.
