So today I brought home my nex project, a 50 Dodge with Plymouth front clip. Plans are to leave the body exactly as it is, and do it up gasser style. I am thinking I beam front end, 440, fenderwell headers etc.. I cant wait to start working on it, but need to put my 55 back together first, and then wire my dads 40 Ford coupe. The more I look at this car the more I like it!

There has been one very similar for sale or trade on craigslist for yrs, he cant get rid of it !
Yes, kind of a hard sell I am sure. I am into this one cheap enough so far, only 1,000 Canadian and plan to do it ratty and on the cheap. It definitely isn't a money making deal, LOL.

Is that rear deck stock? I tried googling 1950 Dodge and didn't see another with that roofline.

Time for a progress report on the 50 Dodge. Dana 60 narrowed with spool and installed on housing floaters, 440 / 727 and fenderwell headers installed, front I beam and steering linkage installed. Next up is ladder bars then cage, floors, install the vintage tunnel ram and wiring / plumbing. I was hoping to have it ready to go this year but looking like next year, LOL. If there is any racing this year it will be in my 55 Dodge again. I am still looking for name ideas if anyone has any suggestions. Thinking rat gas (rat rod gasset), or maybe pandemic because I have been building through the pandemic.

That looks very cool ....even without any paint. Paint don't make you go fast!!!!:steering::steering::steering::steering::thumbsup: My cousin had a '48 Anglia Gasser, man I wish I had that car now!!

I'd dig that car back to an original cruise car.....
But as they say.....yer car!!!
