5 am is my new go pee time and if I'm lucky can wait till 5:30 and race to the toilet before I explode. Going for morning walks again has also helped my day but I hurry and get back home for my morning coffee and all is good.

At 53 I am nearing the end of my career and it would be nice to get some recognition. In the interview it was asked if I would still work on the floor and since he took the position he has done nothing but pace and watch me work. I planned on still wrenching as was required by the job because I enjoy what I do. I guess my best way to say it is always the brides maid and never the bride. At least now they will have to think hard to give me a reason why he was better suited for the job.
That's a new prize for being last for sure LOL
Does everyone get the same payrate? Maybe a pay raise might help. Doesn't hurt to ask.

We are on steps and start at the bottom no matter your knowledge. That hurt bd when I started here because I was at top when the other school went private. I am now back to the pay I was when I left there. The other guy makes almost 2 dollars an hour more right now with the step he is on and the position gives him another 2 dollars on top of that. I have 6 more year steps to go to be at the top here. Sadly I am now making what I was making back in 2009
So a big decision to either stay or start looking for another job. You do have the security and benefits but have to start at the bottom in another place. Unless you can find a supervisory position at another place and better yourself. Decisions decisions...I'm glad I'm out of that rat race.

I just called the mill and they will have me enough seed ready within the next 2 days to begin planting so long as the weather holds out.
