I'll add this too......It might be Bob the filter guy I cannot remember, bot ONE OF THEM cuts a LOT of different brands apart to show how much filter media is in each different brand. Part number after part number the MotorCraft filters have the most filter media of any other brand. Maybe not 100% scientific, but certainly interesting. That's all I run anyway....not because of that, but it's just been my personal preference for a long time. I run the 2 quart size FL299 on the 351M in my truck and on my slant six in Vixen.
