oil filter size

you could also install a remote oil filter
adds what, a quart of oil, cools better, easier to change, larger filter (again, more oil) and...less messy to change

on the other hand, costs money, and you are running oil lines, which could fail

who is it that has that green car with the real cool remote oil filter setup...ah, yes @Dusterdenovo

oh course, it is up to you if you trust fram or not
I tried a remote oil filter once, back in 2002 on a new motor. At exactly 13 minutes into the cam break in there was a HUGE fireball under my hood, I dove head first into my car to turn off the key while my friend grabbed the hose and started spraying water (not knowing it was an oil fire....ooops).....Anyway, long story short, one of the oil lines that cam with the kit (not steel braid) failed. It looked like radiant heat from the headers may have caused the failure, as the hole in the line was at the closest point to the headers (about 6 inches away)....that hole sprayed hot oil onto the headers creating a big ole fire ball.....Once everything cooled, and I found the issue, I proceeded to remove that oil filter relocation kit with extreme prejudice....kicked it around on the ground....threw it down the street....Never again for me, I put my old 90° adapter back on and that is what I have used ever since.
