360 Magnum with stock EFI engine codes

The only thing a missing post cat o2 will do is throw a catylist inefficiency code. It will not effect the tune at all.

I’m listening, I’m doing close to what you got. Only I’m using a 92 360 tbi engine aod-lockup trans install in a 79 truck. Hope someone helps you out

napa has o2 bungs. also there is a kit out there that basically eliminates the ds o2. or like a teacher at school said, " just tie the down stream o2 up out of the way and it will be okay." several have tried it and no problems so far.
My issue is I don’t recall a plug on the harness for the o2 sensor and I don’t know what wires to splice into to make it work.

I'm no expert but that engine will barely run without an 02 sensor.
Car seems to be running fine. He’s put about 50 miles on it since I cleared codes and the only codes it has now are transmission related. No o2 codes yet.

It could be a little deceiving in that it will seem to run fine in open loop. Once it warms up or after driving approx 10 min it will look for the 02. The code is def there it's just your not picking it up for some reason.

Solo PCM's in Florida can sell you a PCM with the correct things disabled for a reasonable price. They are who I used, but I also had the ECM reflashed for more performance several times as I made upgrades from a stock motor to a stroked motor with ported Eddie heads and bigger cam. This required the purchase of a hand held tuner and a remote tuning service, which was not inexpensive. It was definitely worth it for me though, as it made a major performance difference even on the stock motor.

My ECM used 4 O2 sensors including 2 pre-cat and 2 post cat. I am using an O2 signal generator on the post cat feeds to avoid codes. I am running the pre-cat O2 sensors though, which is kind of the point of running modern EFI, the self tuning feature.

Which handheld tuner did you buy, and where did you get it?

What year Magnum do you have? Guessing 2000 if it needs 4 O2's, just curious. Thanks.

Flyin Ryan performance did mine using an SCT handheld programmer and I can’t say enough good things about him.
