Another new bed mill and another Puppy. Bernice Mt. dog 8 weeks old

The Duster finally left I got my 10K out of it. After driving it I wish I would have kept it. I still have two left.

^^^^^ What he said. Super cute pup, more pics please!

Sorry to see the Duster go, it's a beauty also!

Geez Steve I hate to ask what you had INTO that thing. You can't touch anything like that around here for that money

I paid 4k for it. I sold the 408 and trans for 6k. I have many race parts that came with it. Threw some OEM parts into it and some time putting it back to original. The car was a race car since new. Hasn't seen the street for 40 yrs. I was going to rebuild my Duster using this body but I didn't have the heart to tub and cage it. The interior is original except for the seats. I made money on the car before I started working on it. Sold this bike to the same guy.

Took "Dodge"Now 10 weeks old to the new shop to run with "Bullit". He loves the water and chases the frogs. I added a picture of "Bullit" that was taken last summer. They grow fast.

Cute pup 4 sure.

Is your new mill primarily for automotive related machining?
My son uses these machines for what ever needs to be repaired. The New T&S is sold as a engine block mill But it is the same as the Millport just sold through a different company. T&S sells engine machines. They are basically the same heads as a Bridgeport . These machines are not available as manual machines anymore. The new Rottler machines are now CNC and need programs. So you cannot do one off jobs such as old Diesel farm tractor and antique car and truck,Harleys and Indians vintage race engines, etc. He makes all his own fixtures .

That's cool stuff, Looks like your son builds some nice fixtures that it's obviously necessary to be quite Heavy Duty. Lotta man hours in those fixtures.

Only asked as I've done Tool and Die, Prototype, Rubber and Plastic Moldmaking, lots of CNC programming and operation and currently repairing Plastic Injection Molds.

Other than making my own stuff about the only segment of the industry I haven't been in is the Automotive motor side though I did machine lots of axles, spools, gear drives, main caps, rotors etc when I worked for the long defunct Summers Brothers many years ago.

Betcha a 5-Axis machine would come in handy for some of that work.
Thanks for providing all the images, I enjoyed looking them over.

He is working on many more new machines. 5 axis is one but he buys everything cash. So the machines he can afford are first. The 2 new bed mills and the new lathe were affordable. He just bought a crank grinder and a new balancer. Our place is to small so he bought a old salvage yard with large buildings. Its the budget that is holding him back plus a baby on the way. We have to get the house finished. Then the new shop. The 3 phase equipment need to be in the shop. That leaves the sheds and race trailers for all other machines until moving into the new place. He just bought a 40 foot goose neck trailer yesterday so we can pick up and move machines. A new Case excavator is the next on the list. The trenher is getting old and the skid loaders are to heavily abused since we sold the small excavator. He also sold the yellow 36 ft trailer to buy the 40 ft.
