Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Afternoon, cold and foggy here today. Need to load up the hot rod. Leaving Monday morning for Clifton, CO to visit my Mom for a couple of days, then off to Salt Lake. Going to the good-guys show Friday and Saturday.

Change the metal from black to ivory on 9 jars. How difficult could it be? :BangHead:
I gotta have some minimal standards even in arts and crafts.... The side strapping isn’t perfect, but the handles were chipping way too easy. Probably from people handling them. Ended up sanding ivory back off all the handles and repainting. Just put last coat on them. Also, started putting them together yesterday and she tells me I don’t have the glass seems lined up with the metal. :BangHead: Got them all repositioned. She will be putting these decals on. Names and date on one side bird pic on the other.

Looks like I won’t get my blueberries netted again today. Weather people said chance of passing shower. More like light but fairly steady rain.:( Was also hoping to get more tilling done. Not playing in the mud. :BangHead:
Have a roast marinated goin on the grill... Beer

Grill Beer two excellent activities for a Sunday afternoon :D I'll do the same at the wingman's house. Local market's sausage flavor of the week, habenero and chipotle :D

Well hoped to get up to the rake today. Not happening. Have a little tweaking on what's done . Nothing big. Need to go grab a new rubber mallet tomorrow and get back on it.

Attacked the wiring againnin buddy’s gmc. Instrument panel is working now, as well as data link. Pulled column out,and got it a couple inches shorter and an inch lower so cluster will fit dash. Still not there yet. Think if i modify top of dash and dash pad we will be much closer.

Good Afternoon All! Been in the yard for two days.....NOT the garage, damn! Got the blueberries netted in, that took almost 3 hours. Cleared some bushes/weeds out from around a big stump because the misses wants the Maple tree planted nearby so started with the weedeater so I could see, then took the Kubota/grader to it.

What are you using to support your netting?

I drove 4 7 foot fenceposts into the corners then laid a 1x1 across the narrow ends. I used rope, tied 3 runners lengthwise and ran one continuous loop around the bottom, tied it all together with zip ties. Only has to last until August, hope it does. Took a look at Home Depot lumber prices, I knew they've gone up a ton but man it's sticker shock when you see it!

Probably not the best design, if the birds sit down on it I may have to put some inside structure to it. Also was thinking that I might want to lay 1x4's around the bottom, gotta go talk to the bank first lol!
