To be fair to the guy, in the same year many classic Mopar, GM, and Ford cars look the same, though the innards are much different. Indeed, you can often tag the year better than the model, like 1967 was the year all went from still slightly roundish bodies to overly square (even acute angles). But, the sloping Barracuda rear glass is hard to miss, so at best perhaps mistake it for a Mustang fast-back.
