383 duster build

the motor is going to be a 383 stock bottom end with edelbrock rpm heads and dual plane intake but I haven’t chosen a cam or carb yet, but I do plan on swapping to a msd box and electronic ignition. as for the car it’ll mostly be a street car although I’d like to run it just to see what kind of time it would make. I want it to handle as good as possible in a stock configuration ie I don’t want coil overs.
A stock bottom end is fine but the pistons may leave it on the low compression side.
I myself have had terrible trouble with the MSD units and will always leave the stock system (‘73+) in place for when the MSD fails. I also run a chrome box or a FBO set up.
The OE suspension can be upgraded easy enough. It just depends on what you want. Check with the racers as often they will drive there rides on the street as well as to and from the track and grab there thoughts.
