Big block dart what's up

-
BBD flushed my "451 in a 64" tech article with its pics of good and bad headers, Hipo manifolds and steering box clearance. Never saw it again. GiMP on Linux updated and I lost the ability to 'distort" images ( make fenders flared out, fisheye perspective...make boobs bigger.. etc.) And Picasa stopped link sharing to web sites. Used to be so easy to upload to Picasa, then copy and paste the link to an IMG tag in these forums so Joey wouldn't have to host Gigs of pictures. Nope, all gone in the pursuit of ...better? Yeah, network properties in Win10, what a joke. Now AdBlocker browser shows this site as a bunch of headless threads...broken too! WTF.

^^And along with this^^ "to hell" with the rest of us with our slower processors and lack of "big" ram and video cards. Keep it simple, keep it functional Leave the raz-mataze for the **** sites

AND DO NOT EVER design a website with a brilliant white background such as Google, Ebay, and thousands of others
Unfortunately, as new software comes out, it almost mandates faster hardware to go along with it. Pretty, pretty is the byword. Never mind what goes on under the hood.

Sooo... you guys on Moparchat.com?

LOL. That was the first car forum I ever joined. 2003-4 maybe? Then I found BBD and Moparts.

Ever hear of a chrome book? Supposed to be " the last laptop you will ever buy" always updated never obsolete.... according to Google when they sold that platform to schools. UNTIL updates tell you " your chromebook has passes its service life and will no longer get required updates. Please buy a newer model." Tell that to 800 school districts (and the parents who had to buy them!) that bought into that scam. They work great but they have a timer on them.

@Jim Lusk can tell you all about what happened to it. Sad, really.

As a former moderator at BBD I know a lot about what happened. It was a lively place until Bill sold it. The new owners really didn't care one bit about the community. At one point they forced a password change and I lost the ability to get in. I contacted the admins and never heard a word. Traffic had already slowed to a crawl at that time. For kicks and grins look at the members names. I'll bet half of them are NOT car people, but scammers. The site value is in the registered members so it never gets cleaned up. We used to delete obvious non-car people. With the popularity of this site I don't see BBD ever getting back to what it was. I don't believe it will ever be managed by car enthusiasts again. I was gone for 5 years and still have the second most posts on the site...

I was a regular on that site in the early glory days. Miss those days, but like many good things, they're gone for good. I kept in regular contact with Bill to provide feedback on the AlterK front end kit in my Dart...one of the first he had made and sold to the public. Super nice guy.
