Yeah, you can do a valve job with that but it’s sketchy at best. You can’t take much materiel off when cutting a seat. The table isn’t solid. And the head isn’t very secure. Things just move around way too much to be accurate unless you spend a huge amount of time screwing with it.

I know my buddy made a lot of money with it so it’s well used. He is supposed to have an auction this summer to sale off this, his mill, tumbler, (my buddy is buying his surfacer because it will do blocks and heads a lot faster than his mill), and whatever else is left in the shop. He’s around 70 now and the shop has been closed for years. He would just go there and tinker.
