64 bucket seat conversion question
Everything snowballs.
The main project is converting a 64 Valiant from a 3 on the tree to a 4 speed. Took about 3 years to collect the parts and that part is going fine.
It needs new carpeting molded for the floor hump. Rather than put the worn out original bench seat back in, I guess it's time for buckets. My thinking is that the bench seat tracks will leave on impression on the new carpet so may as well do it all now. Sourced those from a 65 Barracuda and I have Legendary covers in house. Gotta get it done before Carlisle.
I just need confirmation on location. The reinforcement brackets under the floor have holes close to the existing bench seat holes. Am I correct in assuming that would be the new outer track stud location? I put a small piece of tape where I think the new outer hole should be. I see no other markings other than what is in the under floor brackets. Passenger side shown.
