did you heat the valve covers a little before you sprayed them?
No heating before, just the recommended cure @200F for an hour. Yes I agree that most painta should be heated for curing, some auto MFG,s pass the shell through a heating chamber after paint. J.Rob
did you notice increased durability of the paint afterwards?
Try baking engine brackets with common cheap spray paint. I think you’ll notice the paint ends up tougher, less imperfections, less fisheyes that you get with today’s lousy spray paints. Plus everything is bolt on ready in about an hour.
I think that oven can really pay benefits.
