Strut rod and polyurethane bushings issue?? 74 Dart

it’s a metal to metal connection. To some amount there will be more NVH (noise, vibration, harshness).

not a good idea in a Cadillac.

but are you adding sway bars, bigger torsion bars, and other handling improvements? Is this a high performance car with headers, cam, etc... basically it makes more noise than a 318-2bbl ?? If so, I doubt you’d hear or feel much difference.

everyone’s sensitivity and expectations are slightly different. So tough to predict your perception.

I ran poly strut bushing for 17 years. But I cut and shaved the rear bushing 3/8” and the center sleeve. I got 3-4 degrees caster with moog 7103 offset UCA rubber bushings.
I do have a front swaybar that will be installed. I also bought new torsion bars 1.03 from pst . Rest of suspension parts are new but stock with rubber bushings . The car is a /6 auto with the intentions of a 408 in the future. The goal is a drivable street car not just on weekends or car shows and some light track passes.
