Still think electric cars is the way to go?

In 1979 I drove a car that got an honest 43 MPG.
It ran on leaded fuel, no cat, had a carburetor and points.
It got my *** from point A to point B reliably for over 10 years with one engine rebuild.
No one can tell me that with today's technology an internal combustion engine and car can't be made to beat that by 100 percent.
The bigest problem is people want to drive tanks to haul one person around.
Bad drivers all too.
We are dealing with morons on the roadways.

I'm pretty happy with my 35 MPG six speed manual turbo Renegade.

...and it has better power to weight than a 318 duster.
