This year, Spokane County Raceway has closed, Atlanta is sold for land, California Dragway in Fontana is closed for 2021 or longer. This happened in the 80's as well, land is worth far more than in it's life as a Dragstrip. NHRA moving more of their staff to Indianapolis Raceway Park, INDY where every other motorsports sanctioning body resides, lots of room and an enlightened local pro-business government. During COVID lockdowns, NHRA laid off a lot of staff and if they sell the Glendora building are offing to lease back half of it... you didn't expect the massive and well paid NHRA board of directors to move from SoCal to Indy, did you?
