Custom Road Warrior front end for my Duster

I've been modifying my '74 Duster to appear as a Holden Monaro as seen in The Road Warrior. The biggest modification has been the front end. The grill is from a 40's Buick, the headlights are from a VW Bug, and the hood 'bump' is from an old Ferguson tractor.

I started with a wire mesh frame, then coated it with fiberglass and spent many hours sanding. The tractor hood had to be significantly cut down and reshaped, then it was bolted in and smoothed over. Here's a comparison shot with the movie car:

That will blow peoples minds when they see it coming...

I hope so... around here (The Motor City) we have the Woodward Dream Cruise in August; miles and miles of classic cars driving around. I'm going to have it out for that, then it's on to Wasteland Weekend in California.
 
You need to take that to Burning Man in Nevada
