My previous and gladly missed money pit had a drain hose connection on the the pan. You simply pushed the hose end out the lower bilge plug on the back and drained in that manner after removing the cap. 23' Sea Ray 265hp/350 Merc. It had a threaded dip stick for evac but also had the other. Never tried doing an evac.
