Remember as a kid the Queen and Prince Phillip doing a drive by in the small town we lived in. The route she took was lined with people for miles. It was cool but remember asking myself why?
That happened here as well in the very early 60's if I remember correctly. People all lined up along the 401, they slowed down and did the Royal wave. Quite the event.
