1970 Dart Dash Pad

My you must have a really nice show car or a lot of money to waste... what are you doing with your leftover dashes that don't meet your criteria.. I myself was a little discouraged with the texture of the grain pattern of vinyl but seems to me if you get a steel core replacement reproduction – pad for 380 bucks it seems to be okay I reckon..maybe front ridge is too defined instead of rounded slope...
Nope, actually I have neither! Both of the dash pads fit so poorly that they will not do even for a driver IMO. I was not even concerned with the grain texture. I don't know if I can get pictures sent, but basically the problem is where the dash should contact the instrument cluster bezel and the radio/heat control bezel (as the original pad does), there is a gap that you can put the tip of your finger in (1/2 to 5/8" gap) and it looks absolutely terrible. This has been the case with 2 different brand steel core pads. I tried the ABC Moparts pad first since several members on here had raved about the quality and fitment, and it obviously didn't live up to it's billing. The one I ordered from Classic Industries was the same. By the way, I sent the ABC Moparts one back for a refund before I bought the one from Classic. I paid $380+ for each of them and they are not usable IMO.
