1967 Dodge Dart 270

Got some good work done the last few weeks. Finished rebuilding the brake system. Ended up having to get a new proportioning valve as one of the fittings was jammed right in there. Got the basic ignition stuff replaced. Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, voltage regulator, and ballast resistor. Those last two started smoking when we were testing for spark. Got the carb completely rebuilt. It was actually in pretty good condition, just dirty. Got a temp gas tank rigged and got it up and running. Sounds like it's got a lifter ticking and possibly a rod knocking as well. It is also leaking oil from the rear somewhere. Even with all that, after 37 years.....IT'S ALIVE! There is even a mouse nest strewn across my driveway. Evicted!
