My fender tag on my 1968 Barracuda shows the bottom line BH 52 5 39 A19 ......
If I understand correctly the A19 translates to a build date of October 19th.
The speedometer in the car is the push on cable type with the horizontal reading numbers on the face. I had assumed it was original to the car. Since it sounds like 1968 was a transition year for speedometer design does anyone want to weigh in on the chance the speedo I have in the car could be original?
