I tried oiling up the seals. Would get the retainer close to seating and seals would push out a slight amount. Tried it about 10 x with the same result. That's why I was thinking if I could contract the retainer slightly in the freezer it may help slightly. If it doesn't work I have a caulking gun loaded with black Right Stuff like you suggest Kim
