Does anyone know if there is a straight housing application that will work on a slant? I have heard about 2.2 or Magnum housings that might work. Just trying to get a little information before I start ordering parts I can't use. I need to come straight out of the head to go to my aluminum radiator. Thanks

Do you mean pointing STRAIGHT towards the driver's side?

All these have the same gasket so perhaps another application has a straight housing

Well........here's the dilemma. The slant six I believe has the same bolt pattern as the rest of the Mopar engines and those on Pishta's list, however, the actual thermostat size is the smaller 2.125" and not the larger one like the V8s use. If that Cadillac housing uses the small one, it will work. There aren't but two main size thermostats I believe.

Rob, that big ol' '64 Caddy 429 uses the same stat as the /6. I think it's good to go.
