Seats/Seat belts for daily driver

Reason I point toward later year dart seats is that way it will be mostly plug and play.

As for 3 point seatbelts, they would need to be properly engineered to make things safer. Later year darts probably had them stock, 75 76 maybe so if you bought those and duplicated the mounting points you should be good.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I’m aware ‘67 headrests were an option. Unfortunately it appears they are very expensive and not repo’d.

3 point belts... I read a HotRod magazine article about putting a conversion into a ‘67 Dart that bolted up to the same location as later models. That what got me thinking about it.

Yes I’m leaning towards a later model (‘68+) seat with head rest or perhaps an aftermarket seat like a Procar 90. This isn’t a show car, and the seats will see a lot of use.
