Hyundai warranty
So finally got to drop off wife's car. Spoke with Warranty advisor as well as mechanic that will be installing "it".
So they install shortblock, new oil pan with new oil pump. New timing chain tensioner(inspect and reuse if possible old chain) and a complete new gasket set of course. All externals, water pump, alt, starter, head intake are reused, BUT are inspected prior to installing. Warranty advisor mentioned in most cases they have been able to reuse all the externals. In 1 case a head had to be replaced but was able to do so under warranty.
