This is better lol.... If you knew my dad and why he loves his A-body's, then it would all make sense.....

I loved my B's until I drove an A-body BB! While it does not drive quite as well it is surely more Fun!

I started out with E bodies then moved to B bodies and then found the automotive love of my life in A bodies.

The duster is what I consider the absolute most perfect car ever made.

Because they are light, and that makes them perform better. And they are the right size.

I am a small guy, I like small places, have always liked A bodys.

Not everyone should. If they were our cars would be like cameros and mustangs. I have never seen another 67 notch in the wild but I know there are a few out there.

learned to drive in a '64 Valiant, my second car was a '65 Valiant, and I never was a fan of big cars (in spite of owning 10 Magic Wagons and on my 3rd Journey ;) )

My dad had a 1974 dodge dart sport slant 6. Wasn't fast but it had appeal and just that cool sport car vibe. As a kid that was our family car. Grew up and he was going to pass it on to me. Unfortunately he got side swiped and the mint dart was trashed.:( Years later he new the owner of a local junk yard that happened to have a 1975 dart sport shell. It was roughet than my dads but had potential for being rescued. So we dragged it home. I've had it ever since. Love my a body!!

Had a 71 barracuda but it got away, my brother had a roadrunner beautiful car but a bit of a boat, A bodies can accommodate anything from a slant six to a 440 fairly nimble and fairly light with upgraded suspension can be a pretty solid package, and no one is going to have a heart attack if you modify it.

Oh yeah and because Darts are about the epitome Mopar muscle.

Hey don’t ask me because I went the long way of getting one. I started out almost being a Furd guy. Lol. My first car was a 1970 six cylinder (300) maverick. I beat a lot of cars on the street with that car and I mean a lot. I asked a local Ford dealership owner (he drag raced too) if putting a V8 in it was a smart more and he suggested not doing it. He went on to say in 71 or 72 they came that way BUT the engine compartment was widened. Then while my brother in law’s brother was painting it he let me take his 1972 Nova for as spin (it was for sale). I would have bought that sucker but it was a pig (350 that my maverick could handle). That brought me to my gas station job I had in 1974 after I graduated. One of my customers brought in a 1972 (340) 4 speed duster every week for gas. I said if he ever wanted to sales it to please let me know. In 1975 he drove in and said for 1650.00 you can have it. I never even drove it till after we transferred the title that day. I have had a duster or three in my shop ever since. I’m sure glad that V8 wouldn’t fit. My first duster of many.
