Fan question (UPDATE: Nevermind keep scrolling lol)

I`m having trouble seeing the 5 blade move more air , would like to see proof.
Back in the day , they were for killing fan noise on reg. engines , never saw a hemi or 440 come out w/ 5 blade fan , have you ??
Both the 426 hemi`s I had came out with viscous drive 7 blade fans !
So, it seems like your calling me out as a lier and ask for proof on actually seeing an invisible gas movement. Or other proof. I get more blades move more air. It makes sense. If you would like to argue the merits of the fans and hopefully get proof, I would take up the fight with MoPar themselves. I can only tell you what I was told from a few sources and the people that I believe that have been there and done that themselves. I for one can only state that I myself have made the exact move described above from a 6 blade fan to the 5 blade MP viscous fan where I could not help notice the air movement difference which was first noted by my wife when she said “Holy ****! Come here and check this **** out!”

The car had difficulty cooling. The only change was the fan. Never an issue after that. How the physics of air movement and fans work is above my pay grade. Check with your local scientists and engineers.

That’s my testimony and I’m sticking to it.

I don’t give a flying F#>%€^!!! What was stock and I don’t accept that as proof of the stock OE material being best or bullet proof.

If you think I’m a lier, OK, fine, I can only tell you what I experienced. Thank have nothing to gain through lies. I’m here to help, not gloat. Not sell parts. Not make money. Etc….

Thanks. So the car did not have a fan clutch or a shroud, and I am not inclined to put a clutch on it, so I am probably going to ditch the 5 blade fan. I did realize that I can adapt the old 6 blade, so I think I'm going to paint it and give it a try. I also ordered a shroud.
Go for it! What ever works is what you use.
Good move on the shroud.
