New proportioning valve leaking

And what do you call a proportioning valve? All 69 A-Body cars had a distribution valve. Disc Brake cars had a separate hold-off valve on the rear line!

For 71 Dodge Demon. Mine is leaking from the octagon shaped fitting where it connects to the main body. The copper washer isn't sealing. Loosened it and snugged it a couple of times. Still leaks.
