Anything anyone has to tell regarding the aftermarket dipstick tubes?? Like the pic shows.

How do they seal compared the OE tube? Oring sure seems right vs. the seal that’s on these.

Thanks!

I got mine for my 904 from COPE Racing Transmissions a couple years a go. It has never leaked.

I have one like that I got from Summit for my 727. Bolted up nicely. No issues so far.

Allstar Performance. The seal that goes into the transmission is quite large. You push it into the hole, put some lube on the tube end and push and wiggle it down till seated, it takes a little effort as it is tight, bolt the tube mount tab down at the engine/trans. The dipstick has a nice thick seal and after pushing it into the tube you flip the solid feeling locking handle down and it’s locked and sealed. Far superior to the oem setup. Cad plated. Excellent quality IMO The A727 version I have fits perfect ootb and doesn’t leak.

That type of seal is used on the dipstick tubes in the newer OD like the A500 and 518. Hole size in trans case for dipstick tube is set size as 904/727, tube on the newer trans necks down more at that point.
