1968 Barracuda Deluxe Seats: Carpet or Vinyl back panels?

Hi, I'd like to be sure what is the right seat back panel for my deluxe seats on my 68 Barracuda Notchback.
Some says Carpet some says Vinyl... can be both? Could one choose between them when buying a deluxe interior? Please let me know... thank you!

My 69 has deluxe seats with vinyl back.
I sure would like to see someone come up with a design that fit better and didn’t warp.
 
@68original may be able to help. Makes sense the deluxe would be carpeted. I agree with the "warping". The carpet would be able to at least hide some of the warping.
 
I like the look of the vinyl back - it looks more natural and seems to fit the seat better since it’s thinner than carpet.
 
Both of my 68s have vinyl back, but I need to verify trim codes. I cant remember without investigation.
 
My seats are not the luxury version, they are the sportseat version, which are vinyl backed.
Luxury, or deluxe, seats come along with a trim package of wood-grained door trim, map pouches, bright metal trim on pedals, rear seat armrests with ashtrays, carpeted rear wheelhousings. None of my cars have this option.
In the pics you posted, appears the green ones are incorrect, red ones are correct. All that being said, unless you are doing a concourse restoration, I say do what looks best to you.
 
On 68 the only challenge I have with the all deluxe seatbacks have carpet rule is: White seats! I totally agree with the deluxe seats having carpet rule. However with the two tone White seat and Blue, Green, Maroon, yes even Black two tone ALL I have EVER seen is the white vinyl backs. Can some one with a 68 deluxe two tone seat (again combinations are white seat and Blue, Green, Maroon, or Black) confirm carpet or vinyl seatback. They never made white carpet so I say they went with WHITE VINYL in ONLY those Deluxe combinations. Please someone prove me wrong... Thanks!

Normally I would say call Legendary Auto Interiors and ask them but I see you are in Italy.
I sent them an email asking a question about my interior about 3 weeks ago and they replied the very next day. You could tell them what color deluxe interior you are planning and ask what color and material the back panel would be. I'm guessing if carpet, that it would match the floor carpeting.

Which leads me to ask who in Italy would know the difference anyway so maybe you do what you want.
