I was asked to share some more photos of my 72' Duster. I posted a few in the "introduction" forum a while ago but I have some new photos to share. I wish I could take credit for this car but all I did was write the check for it! I'm learning a lot from this group already and have plans to further modify the car to my tastes.

Enjoy!

Looks good. No shame in getting one ready to cruise in. It's the up front cost that people have a hard time swallowing but if you can swing it then IMO it's the smarter way to go unless you have the need to do your own car...

I only wish I had the skills, tools and garage space to build my own car. I'm retired so I have the time.

If I had a do-over, it would be something like this. Retired or not. You can buy the tools lol.... As for the Skill, never underestimate what you can and can't do. As many know on here the right tools can make average skills go to the next level..... It's a 72 so I am all about that...

I still say I've seen this car here on this forum....and it's driving me crazy I cannot remember who had it. I know I've seen it here before you got it. I like it too. It's a dang nice one. I'm glad to see you're fixin up the loose ends on it.

If you ever remember who the previous owner was I'd sure to find out.

I did that already but no answers yet. Yeah, I want to congratulate the guy who built it but also ask some questions about the engine internals and if he still has the A/C parts that should have come with the kit he partially installed. The dealer I bought the car from said that he would pass my contact info to the guy but I have yet to hear from the previous owner.

I gotta say love the way the color of the wheels look against the color of the car

have you tried doing a search on the site with a partial VIN ?

No. I didn't know I could do that.
sure, top right there is a search bar, you can put in whatever you want

second suggestion, if you know your paint code, try that
or the name of the wheels

anything particular to your car that the previous owner might have bragged on
