I go almost every morning for the chicken mc muffin. Kim

My girlfriend's Dad is at one every morning. It's his routine and sounds like you 2 are in the same wheelhouse. I do remember a time when I loved those Egg McMuffin's....

Born and lived a few miles from the first McDonald's in Downey, ca. so there were lots of mickey d's around. When i was 6 or 7, it was a treat, an evening out, to go to McDonald's.
I remember when the Big Mac was introduced, it was a fairly expensive burger, more than double the price of a regular cheeseburger, a copy of a Bob's BigBoy burger. 49 cents. You could get a BM, fries and a coke for 95 cents, a penny or two back from a buck after sales tax.
What is a big mac meal now, 9-10 bucks?

15 years old - Worked there for 3 years in the 80s

Started at $3.35 an hour - You either got an .5 - .10 - .15 cent raise

Man the stories we could tell - Parties after work - The food - The beautiful girls - Some of the managers where crazier then the kids - Drive thru was our party line and communication for the high schools - Did I say the girls

Offered me a supervisor position , but got myself in a little trouble

Honestly it really was a fun job back then , and yes believe it or not , you did have to work hard

Their coffee was really good way back before the great groin burning incident and subsequent lawsuit . I knew exactly how far down the road on the way to work it was safe to start to drink that stuff:lol:. I'll still drink the lattes when I need a change or on the road. The McD's where I grew up was at the time was #2 on the busiest/sales volume list in the world amongst McD's. In Barstow of all places .

I was probably 6-7, back when you could walk up there with $1 and get a cheeseburger and some fries, and an orange drink from that yellow cooler thingy. A dollar was big money to us kids back then, and I remember standing in line there and looking down and seeing a $50 bill on the floor. I picked it up, and I thought it was fake, I had never even seen a $20 back then. I showed it to my parents when I got home and they snatched it away and that was the last I ever saw of that!

Two all beef(?) patties, special sauce (thousand island dressing), lettuce, cheese, onions on a sesame seed bun.
Always get the qtr pdr. It's not made until you order it.
I haven't had McDs in well over a year.

sometime in the 70's and I remember when the Big Mac and Whopper came out
The burgers were bigger and had real meat and cheese.
The only thing I get from Micky D's is a large chocolate shake and fries.

I was probably 10 or 11 before we had a McDonalds in this area and I used to like their Big Macs. Now everything they serve tastes gross to me except the Egg McMuffin or the fries as long as they don’t salt the everlovin’ crap out of ‘em.

Ugh, I prefer to eat food.

I used to go quite a bit as a kid. I used to really enjoy their breakfast burritos. A couple years back, a coworker accidentally got two hamburgers instead of her order of medium fries, so she gave them to me. Tasted literally like cardboard. Never again. Plus I heard they're pro gun control.

And like others, does not matter what I eat there, if I eat macdonnelz, I can count on two hours in the office with the chrome fixtures.

McDs has gone really down hill. Drones that work there are marginal to say the least. I like their chocolate chip cookies and coffee. Went into one in Cali on my way up to the NW. Ordered cookies and coffee. Got in the truck and open the bag. One cookie and a coffee for $4.50. Lots of McFuckery under the Golden Arches.

That ain't the golden arches. That's a $15/hr minimum wage kicking into overdrive.

Man if that’s thousand island dressing on that burger they’re doing it wrong - never seen that many ingredients in something that tasted so bland.

We’ve always had a bunch of mom-n-pop burger joints around here that slayed Micky D’s anyway.
Gettin’ hungry thinking about it...

I don’t eat fast food, and haven’t for years now, but I will get a Shamrock Shake from McDonalds when they come around!

Can't remember.
I do remember that McDonald's is garbage and made from the conveyor belt scrapings of processing plants, nothing but non english speaking employees, 2 speakers but only take one order at a time... and they ask you to donate to charity...to which I mutter..'fk off n gimmie my bag of ****, ya chud' and then proceed to plow through the play place in 4 wheel low as I pull out..

Kidding.

I don't do any of that... though it's tempting.

No Big Mac when I was eating the 15 cent burgers (I understand the burgers back then had some kind of "filler" mixed in with the meat).

First time was probably about 7 years old, around 1970, 71 the first one was built in my area of town. Went there a lot in my teens and early 20s, but haven't been in probably 15 years now. Might as well eat it on the shitter, goes through that fast now.
