Brake replacement

Servicing the drums isn’t too bad, the biggest thing with the 5x4” drums can be finding replacement parts because they’re an A-body only deal. There was a long stretch a few years back where replacement drums were not available, although that ended and they have been available since then. Not sure about the current availability for everything though.

I’d be more bothered by having two different wheel bolt patterns front and rear. Can’t rotate tires, have to carry two spares or not bother. And 14” tires are getting pretty limited for options. A disk conversion using the later 73+ mopar disks is pretty straightforward, you don’t need a ton of different tools to manage it. And that way you’d have matching bolt patterns and could go to 15” rims in the front so tires would be an easier deal. And the BBP disk brakes were used on a lot of different platforms so replacement parts are pretty widely available.
