I have some 440 pistons the wirst pins &rods are stuck and won't move at all. They are out the block.how do you get them unstuck the wirst pins and rods so they move around again on pistons?

I usually soak them with Blaster or some penetrating oil and a little heat.

They are all varnished up.
Soak them over night or even a few days in solvent, penetrating oil, diesel, gasoline, or whatever you have at hand.
They will loosen up especially if you put them in the hot sun while soaking.........

Oh ok they were in a barn sure they been stuck quite awhile

Oh ok don't see corrosion inside wirst where goes the rod underneath pistons

That is a good sign maybe you can save them.
Yah hopefully think they just have soak what said above.Thinkin magic marvel mystery oil.there stock 1970 440 pistons still look like there in good shape.

Oh ok true on that they do alright l see
Diesel and ATF 50/50 makes a great penitrant, cheap enough to me a dunk tank. Soak overnight and then take out and try and move the pistons on the rods...continue soaking until you can move them.

Soaking in solvent a start, but you may need to put in a pressing pilot in a pin end and while holding the piston in a gloved hand, hit the pilot with a hammer a few times.

Was able to break them loose by soaking in chem dip for 5mins then spraying them with pb blaster inside piston between rod and side of pistons and a torch and hammer. Then knock wirst pins on side of pistons with hammer back and fourth with pb blaster. Then using a torque heat up wirst pins more so they come loose quicker.Came right loose in a few mins or so.alot black carbon junk came out and some corrison on wirst pins.
