The chance of that being true, given that somebody has been repoping them for years is infinitesimally small. Did they actually tell you that is what they did??? I pulled an old YO catalog from 2009 and there they are - part # VC130...
Fair enough and your point is taken. I am only sharing with you the story as I experienced it. Year One had stopped providing the DartGT emblem specifically during that time frame. I know they previously sold them because I had bought my original replacements from them six years ago. Kevin King (the owner of Year One) spoke to me personally about this issue. Presumably the previous vendor had stopped making those specific emblems. I don't really care if he was just blowing smoke or not. All I cared about was getting the emblems I needed which were back ordered for more than six months because the vendor wasn't producing them in 2019/2020.
