So Speedmaster rejected my claim on the magnum heads...it's false advertising. They insist the heads I bought are a hundred and seventy-nine CC's even though they aren't..and are an actual 150cc after testing them ..so I'm ready to sue them.

Anyone else wanna share a speed master experience of **** customer service and or misrepresentation/false advertising?
Any and everyone who has bought those heads...was ripped off

Dang man that sucks. Sorry to hear. I forget....were they for you or a customer? Not that it really matters.

I recently bought a pair of fabricated valve covers for a BBC and one of them was warped so bad I couldn’t get the bolts started. It was like pulling teeth trying to get their customer service to respond and understand my complaint. I emailed, called, left messages, and texted all of their numbers. They tried like hell to get me to believe it was normal and I should crank em down till they sealed. Nope. I explained that wasn’t going to happen and would like my money back. They finally sent me a return label and I can send them back and get another pair. This whole scenario took over a month.

"Get another pair" Really?

Can you buy from summit and just use their custome service to return due to manufacture defects or not as advertised? Small claims court to get your money back but it will cost you court fees. A class action lawsuit won't get you rich. Only the lawyers who get >33% of the entire judgement and the other 66% gets devided by the other 400 plantiffs minus court fees of course.

Interesting...What's the part # ?
They flow like a coffee straw till .450-.500 and not great.

45cfm @ .100 lift ..where STOCK sbm will do 60's cfm and 10-15 lower than stock up the scale.
They actually measure as follows..
Intake port 150cc
Exhaust port 60cc
Chamber cc 62cc

Once you turn them into something decent ..
Int 160cc
Exh 64
Chamber 66cc- after digging up the valve job. Stones and hand blending.
They are getting a premium for some strange stock looking non eq/rhs heads and people are getting screwed.

Most people would get raped if they put these in a shop let's just say ...
They sell their aluminum head that flows way better for a hundred and something less. Which by the way is another case of false advertisement because they advertise that head with a three angle valve job and it is not a three angle valve job. Speedmaster is pissin in their own tea.

I don't want rich ...I want Justice.
I want the the scam to end.
I want to help save people the grief.
If I got 4 cents from it but they were ordered to edit their listing, pay a state fine n court costs 'essentially learn their lesson'... I'm whole again.

Have you told them that you are going to blow them up on internet and will sue them ? That might light a fire, Also always go further up the chain . Sometimes the higher you go to complain the better the results will be. You have the proof so it would not be in there best interest to let you sue them and make this a big issue. i deal with a lot of litigation- i am not a lawyer- but this would be a real quick lawsuit and they would settle before it got anywhere.

If they wont budge and you went u the chain either talk to a lawyer or take them to small claims.

I in fewer words told Jason how far I'd go with it, legally . I kind of don't think it's very many people in the company I almost think it's three or four people and one guy pretending to be two or three of them.
I have never been able to deal with higher than Jason M.
He claims the claim was rejected, twice now. But he also played bs game back n forths in emails once I sent him links to watch the videos of me cc'n everything....
saying .. "I can't view it." And nothing else.
I ask. Then... another half a sentence... "administrator won't let me" and I have pry an answer out of him. Total bullshit.

I also want to know where that one mystery head I first received in the mail by itself came from and who made it and what the hell and so on and so forth. Because I would have one at a time and ended up with two different heads at first...took over a month ...in other words enough time to void a refund according to their policy.

Their rating for customer service is in the negative.

Hit them up thru their state attorney general office

Isn't that the company that sells most of their stuff that is made in China?

If so, what exactly did you expect?

so the heads aren't as nice as you thought. not what Charlie claims them to be.
99 % of speedmaster customers will just bolt the head on.
I'm glad I didn't get a set to test.

 you get what you pay for. did you get those during the Black Friday sale. lol
I did not. I just ordered them a few weeks ago as I needed a set to get the engine broken in and on the dyno. I needed as cheap of a set as possible just to hold oil seal the engine up. They did neither of those two simple tasks.

Yes it is. But a lot of their advertising says manufactured, cast, poured, whatever, in Australia. What I expect as well as others I’m guessing, is for a company to ADVERTISE exactly what the product is and hold up their end of the bargain when manufacturing mistakes are made. It’s simple customer service really.

I definitely understand the confusion on that.

So what does the packaging on the head say?

I dont want to speak for @MOPAROFFICIAL but the packaging that came with my heads, (Aluminum 360cc CNC BBC) that I purchased from them 6 or so months ago was as I claimed above. I have no idea what comes packaged with their cast iron stuff.
