Sitting in my recliner with a cold glass of water, couple of beers in the freezer getting good and cold. Outside it's 97*F, was going to BBQ a couple of steaks, but I think I will wait until tomorrow to do that, should only be 85*.

Non't blame you would hate to roast over a fire in that heat. Ice cream and beer sounds pretty good for dinner.

theirs was a skimmer type, where as i will need one with the two 1 1/4 hoses

so, ordered a new one

No toll roads in Manitoba YET. I built a smoker from a school locker the large element on a stove and the control use a small pot for wood chips works very
Well can smoke a turkey in the same time it take to cook it in the oven. Has no problem pulling 375 degrees. Very tasty results

And home made bacon awesome because you control the amount of salt not like those salt slices you buy in store

For the price of a store bought smoker I think your idea is better. I think I'll do the same. Thanks...

Make sure you use the wire from under the deck of the stove as it has heat proof insulation on it. I also put 1 “ roxsol mineral wool insulation all around it. Metal shelf brackets and grills from old fridges. Lots of my friends made them using propane. I don’t want to eat that soot. Have worked in open flame construction hordings. Nose is just black at the end of the day.

Morning men... Wife's birthday today so a special day.

He looks fine without hair but I can spare 2 shipments. lol
I tell him he's too tall for his hairline LOL
My mom's brother was bald as well but he would grow his hair long on one side and do the dreaded comb over and put his hat on.
My buddy in New Brunswick is the same way. He was wearing a rug at one time. His son told me they were out in the boat and tearing up the river and his rug was sticking up in the air. He said they couldn't stop laughing at him. I just wish I had been there. We always called him Buzzard as a nick name.

Buzzard, I like that name. lol
My son in law is balled and I give him a bad time when I can. Great kid we poke fun of each other all the time.

morning fellers

Mark, doing anything special with the warden today?

found out one of my church brothers died yesterday

if i understand the event correctly he was on his way home from visiting with some other church members saturday nite, and he had to turn left to turn onto his street
i guess the car behind him didnt realize thats why he was slowing down (or perhaps he was driving a bit slow to begin with) but they tried to pass him by as he started to turn

didnt sound like a bad crash
he got out, walked around, got out of the street and was talking with the other driver
then he got dizzy, started vomiting and having seizures
he ended up getting send to one hospital, where they diagnosed him with a brain bleed and airlifted him to another hospital
he was on life support long enough for his family to come by and say their goodbyes and died around 7 last nite

if i remember correctly, he was 82, but he was the kind of guy in his 80s we all want to be, you know?
he was the kind of guy you'd want to have a around
and he took ownership of the church

just last thursday he called me, and asked me to take care of a plug on a vacuum cleaner that was a little loose

i would never have guessed that was gonna be the last time i would talk with him, this side of heaven
