Chipper is alive again. Trimmed the varmint chewed part off the chute. Notched the top corners and the taper worked near perfect to bolt to the outside instead of inside as it was originally. Hopefully the inside edge is not too much of an obstruction for branches going in. I did see a busted bolt underneath where the base of the chute attaches. Looks like major disassembly to change it. But it is secure with other 2 bolts, and looks like its been that way for a very long time. So not going to worry about it.
