I lost my first car, a 1965 Barracuda, back in roughly 1998-2000 timeframe. My dad owned the car before me. It was green, had a 318 with 360 heads, a torqueflight 727, and sold to a dude I met at a Hampton, VA gas station for $950. Broke my heart but I was broke and not in the position to take care of it any more.

Now that I'm grown up and life is great, I'd love to find that car and finish what me and dad started when I was 7 years old in the 80s. Thanks!

Welcome. Got any old pics to post? Maybe the last 4 of the VIN? There's been some good reunion stories on here. Best of luck.

Pictures?
I had a 65 that I sold in the 70's to someone in norfolk, vb area.
It was a green 65.
I have the VIN.

Very cool, Hyper! Mine was driven from Alaska to Louisiana then to Yorktown by the previous owner (Coast Guard). Then my dad picked it up and got it running, prepped, primed, and painted (cheap paint but better than primer). I bought it off him in 1994 in high school and drove it until I was super broke and had to give it up. Would be cool to find it. Pics to follow shortly!
