So I am bout to put my timing cover and heads on to a 74 360 out of a motor home. Are there any bolts that I need to use thread sealer on? When I took off my timing cover on my 318 bolts around the water pump needed sealer, are those the only ones I have to worry bout with the 360? I wasn’t the one to take this 360 apart or I would have made notes during tear down. Thank you in advance for all the help! You all have been so helpful since I’ve owned this car!

Use sealer/rtv on the long water pump/cover bolts and be aware the shorter of the bolts so you don't put one through the cyl wall on the drivers side.

Incase they remove the cylinder head end studs which go into water jackets.. you'll need to also put some rtv on the those.

I use some sort of sealer on all bolts that go into the water or oil. As mentioned, use a wire or long thin screw driver to see if the hole is blind or needs sealer, and it's depth. Even the bolts for the blind holes should get never seize on them IMO.
