Allstar Performance can... *UPDATE*

Its all good, but from experience I can assure that if its an aftermarket part you may have to and more than a few times have to modify to make fit, like it or not that's the reality of it and your either ok with it or your not. I can assure you though that the few people that can't make it work that complain to whatever vendor will have zero effect moving forward because there's far more customers that did make it work or put that part on the appropriate type car with minimal issues.

There are obviously many different "Chrysler 904" applications. Therein lies the danger of a fits all product. There is no way these things are engineered in any way close to fitting a V8 904 transmission in a stock early A body. Summit Racing knows this and is the ONLY vendor that publishes a disclaimer. Probably due to a history of customer dissatisfaction. Their advice pretty much says modified and racing applications only. When I was shopping, Summit was out of stock. If they had had one available I would have checked out the product information more thoroughly and would have passed. We all have enough challenges building/restoring Mopars without having to f*** around modifying a trans dipstick tube.
