Goodafternoon.
My morning adventure.

The 5 window i have been yapping about. Got it this morning.
Then back onto Fargo. Wasnt happy with the rad mounting yesterday, so dropped it about 3” and added welded nuts to brackets for easier install and removal.

a customer/friend dropped by, to let me know another customer crashed his bike. Witnesses said he was thrown off and travelled 100 feet. Legs and hips broke and some internal injuries.critical.
i hope he pulls through.
I have his Fargo here, we were making plans to get working on it. Guess i will put it away and wait until i hear from him. I think he will be looking to sell it.

Bummer. Sad to hear. Not IF you put a bike down, its WHEN. I gave them up....

I have no idea what's going on but mopar tim has inspired me to attempt to make my own bedroom cabinets once lumber comes back down in price again

:)

Happy Father's day to you boys of age who grew up to be men of mopar

Raise a child in the way of dodge and he shall not be passed on the highways of the land.

I think you gave me the truck bug. Never was into trucks but now I'm helping my little man friend with a frame swap. 69 dodge D100 body to mount to a 90 dodge D250 frame.

It's some interesting and fun stuff

I never cared for street bikes, they terrify me. Not the bike as much as all the other shitty drivers on the road.

i had a lot of fun on dirt bikes though. Last ride about 10 years ago, fixed up my nephew’s yz125. Biggest issue is it was carboned up. I loaded tank with sea foam and drove it a couple times a day for a week. It was hard to start and bagged. After a week it woke right up, pulled the wheel in every gear.
That powerband was crazy!
Then i saw him drive it. He never went into the powerband at all. Explains why it was so loaded up.

The only folks who have never crashed a bike, are the folks talking about riding, not actually riding. It is inevitable. Ask me how I know!
I rode a Suzuki GS 400 from Chicago to San Diego, with a loaded sea bag on my back!! O to be young again...

Rode them just enough to know I suck at it. Just don't seem to have the balance. Never had a problem with a bicycle as a kid, but wasn't much of a daredevil on those either.

Been on one for 41 years. 65k+ miles. I've dropped a few, but thankfully never a serious incident. Going to look at/buy a Gold Wing this weekend. Inexpensive starter to see if the girl is into riding. If she likes it enough not to be a garage ornament, May get a new Indian or Harley.. Who knows. Riding weather here 10 months of the year.

This was my first bike. Triumph Tiger 650. Took it all apart and chopped it myself and reassembled it. Rebuilt the engine with better cams. I was 19, so don't laugh. It was my first attempt.

That GS 400 was my first bike.....Then a GS 650, and a Honda 750 4. That was a beast.

Went back out for a couple hours, in spite of my leg hurting like a sob.
Rad hoses, heater hoses and bypass all on. I didnt pick up enough fittings for transmission lines though. Transmission cooler lines tomorrow, bleed brakes and its close!
