Nice, we have a little one bedroom, one bath cottage home on the Snake River by you. We built it after I retired in 2013. We have a 72 Scamp, 318 automatic we've been working on for over 10 years.

Still a work in progress but put about 20 miles on it yesterday trying sort some things out. Pine City is a great area. We live in Blaine just north of Minneapolis.

Thanks for the welcome. Great looking cars. Hope to have mine at that level someday. I know it is late but there is a car show at Ryders in Henriette today. They also do a weekly deal on Thursdays all summer long. Be cool to see some of these cars there.

From just south of Rochester in spring valley. Hardly ever see any mopars down here in the wild anyway. My beater with a heater.

I just noticed this (Mid-West) forum, but not really sure if I count, as this isn't my car.

Anyway, about a year ago we moved from Maple Grove (Rice Lake) to a new place SE of Zimmerman, and I'm working on my good friend's RH drive, '71 Chrysler Valiant VG Mexicana (probably the only one of it's kind here in the States) while he recuperates. Barry/Bazza, the owner, seen here in the light blue shirt, down in Farmington a few years back:

(C'mon, Barry! You can do it!)

Yes, Jim, you count. You're on the site, aren't you? :poke:

I moved out of the cities in a similar manner, from Minnetonka west to Howard Lake. I moved south back when you could get 99 weeks of unenjoyment, which I did. I love it here! It's cheaper, quieter, and I can drive my cars with plenty of options for little to no traffic. I'm glad I grew up in the cities, but I'm happy I moved out of them.

Hope Bazza's making a speedy recovery. You've done a lot of work on that car for him, I'm sure he can't wait to drive it.

Agreed! We grew-up just a few miles from each other, but there's NO WAY I would drive my trucks around Wayzata anymore.

Out here, though: "Be right back, honey. Gotta go burn the carbon out of the Old Gray Mare!" (My wife's name for my '68 F250.)

Hope Bazza's making a speedy recovery.
Thank you so much, and we do as well! He's making slow but steady progress, and I still want to get him, and the car, on a Power Tour someday.

From MN originally, don't plan on ever going back. Miss the green and water though.

Stillwater MN, I got the 1971 Demon this summer and in the middle of redoing the front suspension, front drum to disk conversion and building a 318 to 390 stroker. Plus........

I’m from ottertail, my fiancé is from montley close to brainerd. So we go up there a few times a year, went to mopars in the park last year. Hoping to have the duster running this spring. Building a 340 4 speed, picked up a 742 and a set of 391s
