New starter won’t fit due to headers

Rob....you didn't happen to experiment with that starter on your former Valiant with the small block and Dougs headers did you? My 65 Barracuda will be a 273, 998 trans, Dougs headers. I have, and planned on using a 90's Magnum motor mini starter....but ain't throwed all those parts together to see if it fits yet. Block is still in machine shop hell ! :BangHead:

I did not. I used the Dakota mini starter on that car......that before all the new Hemi stuff. But you can look at the starter and plainly see it will work where the other one will not. I've posted comparison pictures before.
