Yup there are but look how old that box is. I bought a made in USA NOS fuel pump off ebay and within two weeks the dry rotted diaphragm started pissin gas everywhere. I'm just glad it leaked outside and not inside. Sometimes you get lucky though. I'm glad you did. I admit, that's the first time I've had that happen with an NOS part.

Just bought an OD/lock up solenoid from auto zoo for the Dakota. Made in USA
Used to work with a few ex Carter guys years ago when they started phasing out the plant in Wellston, MO.

Carter muscle car pumps are still one of the best bargains out there at least that's been my experience, I just enlarged the fittings to 3/8 and it will feed my six pack with almost perfect pressure. Up to about 425 horses they seem to do a great job without overpressurizing and causing seating problems. I used to always run a Carter strip mechanical pump but I was short on funds about 10 years ago and from what I read it said that the muscle car pump would do the job and it has.

We make some pretty nice stickers to put on the box. lol

I tried to order a Carter pump from Summit and they were on back order....so I got a Holley one and it’s still a Carter pump in a Holley box, pump had “Made in USA” stamped on it, I was surprised. I got a Wix fuel filter, and I thought those were also made here but the filter had “Made in China” on it...almost didn’t put it on but I needed one so on it went.

Started another thread on the same China Wix filter.
That's what caused me to start this thread.

Wix is global now. Which means they could be made here, China, Jaypan, Koreear, Ruskieland, pretty much wherever.

I just got Raybestos brake hoses for the Dakota.
Made in China.
What really rubs me raw is that they're the same sunshit hoses you can buy on Rockauto for half the price, and it says so right on the part! **** that! Their email response to my complaint said that issues with Chinese parts was old news. I call Bullshit.
I called Wagner and they said their hoses in that application were still made in the USA, so we'll see. They are in the mail!

******* Chinese spark plugs are the reason I had to helicoil my neon head. Torqued em all to spec, but the gaskets never crushed and they worked loose. Goddammit China trash autolite plugs can't make the gaskets properly. The leprechauns didn't have my Champions and I didn't check the Autolite box until it was too late.

I've found if you stick with the OEM suppliers, you're more like to get made in USA parts.

As it says on my bumper stickers, **** CHINA.

didnt know that , have been running purolater --

dont it piss u off , to buy a hotrod part from jegs , or summit , and it has metric bolts / nuts ??!!

I saw this and was very disappointed. I got my muffler shop to supply and install these when they welded up my Summit exhaust kit. Flowmaster is made in China? ****, I'd pay more for something made in North America.

The ISSUE with Chinese parts is that they're made in a commie country that is preparing for war with us and gave us the ******* Chinese flu!

Could NOT agree more. All the stupid bullshit that people in this country are worried about today is going to pale in comparison to what is coming from the Reds.

And how did it all start? Most consumers bought and still buy cheap as possible, without thinking about the consequences. With every purchase of a piece of junk made in China, the people in America and Europe dig their own economical grave just a bit deeper. But explain this to the ordinary customer, that a simple 100% cotton T-shirt made in the USA may cost $50 - $100, and that labour has to be paid fairly and accordingly.

It damn sure as hell does. I cannot STAND it. It reminds me of those late 70s/80s GM products. Their alternators had the top bolt that was 1/2" head and the bottom was a 15mm. That's but one small example.
