So, anyone have propane for home or shop heating? What kind of prices are you getting quoted for lock in prebuy? I got quoted $1.46/gallon. Last year was $1.05/gallon
We paid $1.55 per gallon this spring to fill the tank at the house. Local paper has one of propane suppliers at $1.29 for a summer fill up.

So. I screwed up. Lower bracket for rad fan. Set it on rad support, clamped ground to it and tacked it. Ground was touching rad and so was the bracket and i didnt see it. Ground path went through rad and burned a hole in a core tube.
Hindsight is 20/20,eh? Pulled it out and pounded some solder to it. Seems to be holding.
I filled it and ran it for 1/2 hour.

the exhaust is going to be a challenge. Yup.

We've all done stuff like that if we doing any fabricating

Gv overdrive. Lower bracket that mounts on tailshaft

For shifter shaft . Well GV put the mount on there unit. But not usable without grinding modifier the bracket. Glad I caught that before it was in the car...

I could have pulled rad, and had lots of room to work. I think when the bracket moved it lost ground and that was it. Whats done is done. Them cheap rads are fragile.
I got the Rad. in the 66 recored. Copper. 3 rows, and extra close. NOT a cheap Rad.....But aluminum is a good option...
