Stop in for a cup of coffee

Fall is in the air up here this morning, a cool 40 something degrees F. Back to hoody weather. But I sure did like those two weeks of summer. I am just now catching up after a four day State Championship Cowboy match. They are still sorting out results and verifying but rumor has it I am the State Champion in ND gunfighter class. Translated you draw two pistols at same time and engage targets simultaneously with each hand until pistols are MT. Then move to either rifle or shotgun for next stage. All equipment is 1890 vintage or older. It is a hoot. I will know final results here in a day or so. Folks came from 13 states to compete. It is a annual National match. I had a great time

Visited a Whiskey Chaser friend yesterday. He and his wife (just married last year) bought a lot out in the country and built a nice house. Dang it was nice out there. Quiet and plenty of space. Neighbors but 1/8 mile way.

We are four miles off the main road, and a mile off the two lane road last house on the block at a dead end.
The house sits back 120 yards off the street. It is a 1/4 mile from our front door to the the neighbor's across the street.
It's really quiet and we like it!!

Im in a quiet area as well. 1500 feet from highway,little traffic as my road is a dead end. Neighbours are quiet.
Birds are noisy. The magpies are the worst lately. They constantly terrorize the fox. I think all they are trying to do is steal the food.

So if i sleep flat on my back, and a pillow rolled up behind my left knee, the ache dissipates in 10 to 20 minutes. On my left side it comes back in only a couple minutes. It has to be a pinched nerve. Physio next.
 
Morning. Checking in on my phone. Computer is in ‘suck’ mode. Doesn’t want to switch some screens. Can’t even get in to do a clean up. Shut it down for a minute. Turning back on now…
 
Fenders bolted back on. Rad fan controller showed up,seat in. Adjusted throttle pedal rod so its in a more comfortable position. Torch on the rod, and once it was glowing i mashed pedal to floor.
 
Party over now 10:35 pm here. Time to get some sleep. Yup, 12 people, only 4 cases of 24 Beers.
