How do I get the lift I need without shackles?

I bought the heavy duty leaf springs + 2" from ESPO a few years back and those didn't really give any lift at all. As you will see by my posted pictures, I had to install a BS rear shackle lift kit to get the clearance I need over my big rear wheels.

I want to keep the 70's look with lots of rake, cuz I'm a throwback and I like it. But I need to get rid of the stupid lift kit that flattens out the springs.

I've read a lot of posts about the SS springs but I don't like the fact that they bring the rear wheels in 1.5 inches toward the front. I'd prefer to keep the rear wheels centered in the wheel well. And besides, I don't race the car, it's for street use only.

Thanks for your advice!

Knew a guy with a car like that. He and his buddies were Mopar mad. Eventually he found a narrowed rear axle to put in and retain the wide tires and the offset.
There was a guy about an hour away with a 440 Charger equiped with a 6-71 blower that everyone bragged up. The guy with the Duster loaded on his trailer and went the hour drive. The Charger was lifted on the back for wide tires. Well when the knickers got dropped, the level 340 Duster was gone like shot out of a cannon, while the supposed fast Charger went up in smoke. With the rake you get the funny car look but no weight transfer. The narrowed Duster transferred weight to the rear and did not spin much, all go.
